28 April is World Day for Safety and Health at Work. Beginning in 2003, it is an annual day promoting safety and healthy work around the globe.

The ILO’s theme for World Day 2025 focuses on new work practices like task automation, big data analysis, smart digital systems, and AI in worker management, looking at these technologies from an occupational safety and health perspective, including:

- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Work/hybrid work/telework.
