Curious about making your washrooms eco-friendly? TWC Facilities has over 15 years of experience. We are ISO14001 certified and provide the latest green washroom solutions for our clients.
Reducing energy and water consumption
As a provider of green washroom solutions, it is acknowledged that energy and water consumption are significant environmental and cost concerns for our clients. Both usage and costs can be reduced in washrooms.
At TWC Facilities we offer advanced water management solutions for your washrooms. Our sensor systems adjust water usage based on how often the facilities are used.
Our range of GLX hand dryers give better efficiency and savings. With low drying times and the latest designs they will look fantastic in your washroom.
Sustainability in the Washroom
In addition to reducing your energy and water consumption, at TWC Facilities we can also supply other products that will help your business be green.
We can provide a fully recycled sanitary unit made from recycled ABS plastic. Our other sanitary units are made from ABS plastic, which is fully recycled at the end of its lifespan, ensuring a sustainable and eco-friendly solution. Our antimicrobial sanitary bin liners eliminate the need for germicidal powder, saving significant plastic packaging annually.
We have also sourced the Oxygen Shield air freshener system. The stainless steel body of the system reduces the usage of plastic, and the Oxy-Gen Powered refills do not have harmful emissions, solvents or propellants, reducing the amount of VOCs being emitted by up to 90% when compared to aerosol cans. The refill is 100% recyclable and safe to dispose of in your regular plastic recycling waste.
Other useful tips
Improving sustainability in the washroom can also be as simple as displaying signs reminding users to turn off the taps after use, avoiding water wastage. You can source washroom consumables such as toilet paper that is 100% recycled or made from a sustainable material like bamboo, limiting environmental impact.
And let’s not forget to simply avoid plastic packaging wherever possible, make recycling bins readily available in your washroom and check your taps for leaks and drips — fixing a tap can save up to 4 litres of water daily.
